A beautiful Maleras crystal sculpture featuring a Crested Tit design. The bird paperweight has exquisiting detailing made from the carving and is engraved with painted and sandblasted motif. A lovely sculpture with a clear background and a grey and beige colourway to accompany a bird theme in your home decor. Mats Jonasson is conscious of his environmental responsibilities and this sculpture has been hand-painted using organic colours. The sculpture is signed on the base and comes with a bespoke branded gift box. The crested tit is largely confined to ancient Caledonian pine forests and Scots pine plantation and spends its time foraging on the trunk and large branches of pine trees and after the breeding seasons joins other tit species in roving flocks. To preserve the beautiful finish of the piece, do not use strong cleaning agents and keep it away from strong direct sunlight. Dimensions: Width 12cm x Height 11cm / 4.7 x 4.5 inches.
